Creative Prisoners

When we heard prison, I bet you'll think about the bad guys who are locked up in a room full of bars (actually, nowdays they don't use bars). They are put behind bars because of their crimes (and the innocents too...).
Well, I don't want to touch about those things, because we'll always keep up to date about them, well, their negative sides. In this post, I want to tell you these guys aren't so useless.

They actually CREATIVE...(well...most of them)...and they are REAL


Here some :

1. Homade Chess

Why waste our money on buying them? Why not making them yourself? Well, it can't be a tough work when a prisoner can build them with limited tools and supplies(almost limited)?

2. Lighters(for Ciggarets especially)

With cigarettes being the go-to currency of choice for prisoners (at least the movies would have you believe this), and because prisoners are forbidden from having lighters and matches, so they have devised a way around the rules. This example of a lighter is a simple yet intelligent design. Simplly touch the other side of the wire to the positive end and the metal coil in the center of the wire heats up.


3. Toaster / Heating Grill

A Grill? Come on? Yeah, its true. This is a grill that could be used for preparing food, and is fashioned from wire, tin foil, and a busted heating rod. Although it does show a great measure of ingenuity, the failure of the design is that it is rather large and easily confiscated by over zealous wardens who don't want anyone to have any fun. Haha...

4.  Salt and Pepper Shaker

In prison, inmates have to go without even the most basic comforts such as a salt and pepper shaker. Poor guys, right? Well not for long... This invention was made, just to make them feel a little more normal(maybe missing those cooking days) - as opposed to only making weapons meant to kill fools who get caught steppin'.


These are only some of them, not even 1% of their inventions. These are found in low-sec prison like county prison. If these are found in federal prisons, such a mastermind! Don't under estimate them...beware...


These inventions are prove that creativity has no limits, and things as simple as a shave comb to complicated as radio communicator(they are really invented by them), shows that our life can be comfortable only by ourselves, and saves pocket money too...(:
